High performance assembly tools use precise torque control to tighten threaded fasteners in demanding production conditions, such as vehicle manufacturing.

Pneumatic and DC Electric Tools.
Offer torque capacity ranging from 1 to 2000 Nm -- with various levels of fastening control, including pressure-regulated or electronic shut-off and angular positioning.

Microprocessor-Based Controllers. Used in electronic shut-off tools to define fastening strategies, collect quality records, "error-proof" joints, and communicate with assembly workers and computers. (Stanley Beta Tech Controllers with the Common Fastening Platform (CFP) control tools from a variety of manufacturers.)

Multiple-Spindle Assembly Systems. Include specialized hand tools, multiple tools with manipulators, fixed subassembly systems and full automation systems. To define an assembly system, Stanley Air Tools’ sales engineers, located throughout the world, analyze customer applications (chiefly vehicle manufacturing) and combine the ideal selection of tool geometries, drive motors and fastening strategies for their needs.
